Story For kids : Smell and Sound

After a day's hard work a poor farmer was on his way to home. He want to take some sweet for his children looking for hm. But the poor man had no money to spend on the sweets. 
Still farmer waited sat the shop for some time and enjoyed the sweet smell. Then he turn to go. But the shopkeeper ask him in stern voice to stop.  He told
to the farmer to pay for his enjoyment of smell of the sweet . 

The farmer was taken back. He told to the shopkeeper that he had not eaten any of the sweets. But the shopkeeper would not let him to go. He said smelling is as same as eating. The farmer must pay two rupees. 

Now all the while a wise man was standing by. He took the farmer aside. He whispered in the poor man's ears a word of advice. 

The farmers face lit up with smile. He went up to the shopkeeper. The farmer hold shopkeepers hand and put in his own pocket and jingled the few coin he had in his pocket. 
The shop keeper heard the sound of coin and seemed pleased. He dreamed for getting some cash for sweet which he had not given to the farmer.

The farmer take the shopkeepers hand out from his pocket and left the shop. Again shopkeeper shouted on him that where are you going yet you have not paid. 

Farmer asked with smile to shopkeeper," But you heard the sound of coin."

" Yes i heard it. But it doesn't mean you have paid any cash in my hand." Shopkeeper shouted. 

The farmer start the way with the words, " If smelling as good as eating, hearing is as good as receiving." 
   

Lesson : If we dig for others we may fall in it
