Story For Kid's : A Noble Deed

 Once a rich man divided his property equally among his three sons. However, he had one precious jewel worth a lac of rupees. His sons began to quarrel over the jewel. The old man was clever. He called all f them before him and said,
" look here my sons, I shall give this jewel only to the one of you who deserves it by performing some noble act. Come to me after a week. "

The boys agreed. Each of them hit upon some plan of doing noble deed. The eldest son spend a part of his money in visiting Benaras, the holy place to worship God Shiva. The second one gave some part of his money to some Brahmanis. The youngest of them, however waited for same good opportunity. 

One evening when the youngest was walking on the bank of river, he heard a sudden cries for help. As soon as he saw a boy in danger of drawing, he jumped into the river and brought the boy to the bank. When he looked to his face he found that it was his enemy's son. But the young son was so noble , he forget the enmity. He treated him properly and give him life. 

After a week old man called all of them and asked for there deed. Everybody of them explain what they did. Old man listen carefully. Before give result he looked to face of all. elder two boys are happy and both of them are confident that they will get the precious jewel. The third one not did everything for that precious jewel. So he was clam. 

Old man said to his son," Visiting holy places or thoughtless charity does not a noble deed. Service to the man is the service to God. So deed of youngest one is a real noble deed and he will get the precious jewel."
